The Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) initiative by Oxfordshire Freemasons is a heartwarming example of service in the community. They self fund over 6000 special crafted bears annually to children in local A&E hospitals and aim to bring care and comfort during difficult moments. Cheshire/England – Freemasons donate £1300 of Easter eggs to local charities

Freemasons from Chester, Nantwich, Runcorn, Malpas, Northwich and Frodsham have donated Easter eggs to worthy causes in their area. Illinois/US – Job’s Daughters and the Honor Queen

Bethel No. 6 of the International Order of Job’s Daughters was a Masonic youth organization that ran out of the Masonic Lodge, located at 7507-9 Madison St. In 1954 Alta Jean Leinweber was elected Forest Park Honored Queen. Georgia/US – Cordelia Masonic Lodge #296 Join the Chamber of Commerce

The Masons have been active in Cordele for 134 years and in their current location for 35 years and are the newest member of the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce. The building that they are currently located at 215 E 12th Ave, Cordele, GA is 135 years old. Third District Deputy to the Grand Mster for the State of Geogria, Brother Tommy Kimbrell spoke on what it means to be a Mason and what they do. The Free Masonry has been in the state of Georgia since 1734 and the Grand Lodge of Georgia, their governing body has been a legal body since 1786. The primary charity they serve for is the Masonic Home, which has served over 2100 children since June of 1905. This home is located in Macon 650 acre of land, and serves as the primary residential care facility for children who typically come from broken homes or their parents are unable to care for them. Hampshire and Isle of Wight/England – Freemasons donate £60k to Rose Road

More than 100 disabled children and young people with complex needs will be able to access care in emergency situations thanks to a new £60k grant. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Freemasons donated the money to Southampton’s Rose Road charity and it will fund the charity’s emergency respite care service across Hampshire which will help families in need of unexpected or additional support that is not included in their standard care funding. Essex/England – Freemasons donate thousands across the community at Easter

Local Freemasons at The Cross Keys Masonic Centre, have always been committed to charitable work across Essex, never more so than in Easter. Two years ago, they made national headlines after donating over 1000 Easter eggs to community groups throughout the region. Last year, they organised numerous Easter egg hunts for local groups supporting vulnerable children and this year, their efforts have been equally inspiring, and the members of the now-established Cross Keys Community Fund have been busy again. They have donated hundreds of Easter Eggs and Easter crafts to women’s refuges, special needs youth groups, and Knit and Natter groups in Thurrock and Basildon. The Widow’s Son’s Masonic Bikers Association held its annual Easter Egg motorcycle ride this weekend. On Saturday, March 23, freemasons traveled across the county, delivering Easter eggs to children in need. This was for children who were in the hospital and children who were in the hospice during Easter. Oklahoma/US – Masonic Charity Foundation grant helps School for the Deaf’s Senior Citizens’ Hearing Aid Program

The Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma awarded a generous grant to purchase hearing aids for 180 seniors through the statewide Senior Citizens Hearing Aid Program operated by the Oklahoma School for the Deaf. Including the recent grant, the Masonic Charity Foundation has donated a total of $893,000 which cleared waiting lists and helped lower-income seniors get hearing aids through the OSD program. Oklahoma/US – Marland’s Place Receives $145,000 Grant From the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma

Marland’s Place staff members Ally Broome and Caitlin Clark with board President Casey Pruitt accepted a $145,000 grant from the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma to support campus revitalization efforts. Marland’s Place recruits, trains and supports foster families to care for children who have experienced neglect or abuse on a scale that requires the children to be removed from home. Scotland – Barrhead Masonic lodge supports defibrillator fund

A Barrhead organisation has donated £2,000 to a good cause which is on a mission to increase the number of public access defibrillators (PAD) across East Renfrewshire. Steve Haines, Leader of Spithead Freemasons Lodge, based in Seaview, has chosen the foodbank as the charity for his year in office. Steve has used the proceeds of raffles and bottle draws held at the Masonic Meetings to purchase items the foodbank can distribute. A Freemasons BBQ and beach walk was attended by 77 members LODGE SANTA FAZ No 48 and members of the community at the International Club in El Campello on Saturday 16th March. The fundraiser included a sponsored beard shave, during which the lodge managed to raise very slightly over 2,000 euros, which is now deposited in the Lodge Charity account. That money will be added to any other charity monies raised throughout the year with MABS being the the main beneficiary, at a presentation later in the year.
