Regular Grand Lodge Phoenix

The Regular Grand Lodge Phoenix is the legitimate successor, both de jure and de facto, of the Regular Grand Lodge of Romania, responsibly carrying forward its spiritual and traditional heritage.

Established in accordance with the law as a Romanian legal entity of private law, non-governmental, apolitical, and non-profit, the Regular Grand Lodge Phoenix operates in full compliance with the Constitution and the laws of Romania. Its members are bound—under penalty of exclusion—to respect the legislation of the Romanian State and to fulfill their civic duties with loyalty to the Nation, upholding the ideals of Peace, Tolerance, and Universal Brotherhood.

The Regular Grand Lodge Phoenix strictly adheres to the Ancient Landmarks of Universal Regular Freemasonry and to the fundamental principles of regularity and recognition.

We are a sovereign and independent Masonic Body, practicing Freemasonry exclusively in the three Symbolic Degrees: Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason. We do not recognize or admit the existence of any higher Masonic authority, regardless of its title.

The Regular Grand Lodge Phoenix firmly proclaims its faith in the Great Architect of the Universe, His revealed will, and the immortality of the soul. The Three Great Lights of Freemasonry (the Volume of the Sacred Law, the Square, and the Compasses) are always displayed on the Altar during the ritual work of the Grand Lodge and its constituent Lodges. Masonic oaths are sworn solely upon these sacred symbols.

Our Obedience is exclusively male. Within Masonic meetings, discussions of religion, politics, or economic interests are strictly prohibited, in order to preserve the unity and harmony of the Craft. The Grand Lodge and its members, when acting as Freemasons, do not publicly express positions regarding the internal or external politics of Romania or any other state.

All members are required to uphold and protect the full regularity of the Grand Lodge and its constituent Lodges, ensuring that all decisions and work are in strict accordance with the Landmarks, the Constitution, the General Regulations, and the decrees and rulings of the Grand Master, the Grand Council, and the Conventions of the Regular Grand Lodge Phoenix.

It is forbidden to recognize or maintain Masonic relations with Symbolic Lodges, Grand Lodges, or Masonic bodies that admit women as members, deny belief in the Great Architect of the Universe and the immortality of the soul, fail to display the Volume of the Sacred Law, the Square, and the Compasses during meetings, or reject the essence of the Legend of the Master Mason Degree.

Each member must exemplify honor and good conduct, rejecting all forms of vice, intolerance, atheism, extremism, or totalitarianism. Members are duty-bound to avoid personal conflicts, prevent any form of abuse, and uphold strong moral values. Every Brother has the responsibility to cultivate social virtues, contribute to the common good, and faithfully transmit the wisdom and tradition of the Royal Art with discernment and integrity.
